Gagan Randhawa earned many Indian and global titles before stepping into the world of acting. The model-turned-actor from Jalandhar made her acting debut with Punjabi film Zakhmi. She talks about the movie, how modelling inspired her and how a positive attitude can change one’s life.

You got a name and fame with your debut film Zakhmi with Dev Kharoud. How has the experience of working with him been?

It was an amazing experience working with the action hero Dev Kharoud. He is a very humble perosn and always supports his co-actors. As Zakhmi was my debut Pollywood film under Binnu Dhillon Production, it meant a lot to me, my life and my career.

It was quite smooth! After winning many awards and tittles at beauty pageants, I joined an English theatre course in New Zealand to explore the acting talent in me. But I have also faced challenges to be where I am today.
