Mock test to prepare students for PARAKH survey to be held today
Along with government school students, the students from private schools will also participate in the mock test being held tomorrow to prepare students for the upcoming Parakh Survey-24 (PARAKH) next month. Samagra Shiksha has completed the preparations for the mock test, which will be the third preparatory test for the survey.
Students from about 18,000 schools will participate in the test. While the students of Class III and VI will be assessed for their knowledge of language, mathematics and EVS, the Class IX students will get questions from language, mathematics, science and social science. Earlier, two mock tests have been conducted in schools. The first mock test was conducted on September 10 and the second on October 9. Necessary instructions were issued to the schools to prepare the report of both these tests and remove the deficiencies found in them.
As per the spokesperson of Samagra Shiksha, zero hours are being held in all schools to make children practice for the Parakh survey. Samagra Shiksha has prepared material on the possible questions that may come in the survey and made it available to schools so that children can be made to practice accordingly.
The spokesperson further said that that the state government was serious about the Parakh survey.
