The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has started offering the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) at its three counters in the town. People can buy the cards from the Inter-state Bus Terminal (ISBT), Tutikandi, booking counters on Mall Road and Old Bus Stand, Shimla. The card will cost Rs 100.

The commuters can use the card to buy ticket. No Internet connection is required for the card to function. To begin with, it will be used in buses on local routes and in all HRTC buses across the state later.

The pre-paid travel card can also be used across travel networks in the country. A card holder can use it in Delhi Metro and any other travel network.
