MLA seeks special train to Varanasi for Guru Ravidas Jayanti

Guhla MLA Ishwar Singh today wrote a letter to the Ministry of Railways and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, urging them to arrange a special train from Kurukshetra to Varanasi so that devotees and followers can participate in the celebrations of Guru Ravidas Jayanti on February 24.
Urges govt for service
On Guru Ravidas Jayanti, a large number of devotees and followers will reach Varanasi to celebrate the occasion. Two special trains have been started from Bathinda and Jalandhar to Varanasi with the efforts of the Punjab Government. Therefore, I request the Haryana Government and the Ministry of Railways to start a special train from Kurukshetra to Varanasi.— Ishwar Singh, MLA
“On Guru Ravidas Jayanti, a large number of devotees and followers will reach Varanasi to celebrate the occasion. Two special trains have been started in Punjab from Bathinda and Jalandhar to Varanasi with the efforts of the Punjab Government. Therefore, I request the Haryana Government and the Ministry of Railways to start a special train from Kurukshetra to Varanasi,” MLA Ishwar Singh said in his letter.
“Allowing a special train will help the devotees to reach Kanshi conveniently,” said the MLA.
