Aam Aadmi Party MP Ajitpal Singh Kohli inaugurated the carpeting project of the road from Gate No. 21 to Lahil traffic intersection. He said the work was being carried out at a cost of Rs 43 lakhs. Kohli said the road construction work had been delayed due to the prolonged monsoon this year, but since the monsoon was over, all the roads would be completed soon. He said repairs would also be made wherever required. He said many roads in the city were being rebuilt after decades. MLA Kohli said the previous governments did not do any development in the city, they piled up heaps of garbage everywhere.
