The Punjab Government was working to providing quality education and infrastructure in the state-run schools to nurture students’ talent, besides giving them trained teachers, said Harjot Singh Bains, Minister for School and Higher Education and Information and Public Relations, while interacting with teachers of Fatehgarh Sahib district who had gone to Singapore and Finland for training.

Speaking at a ‘Dialogue with Teachers Chai Pe Charcha’ programme here today, Bains said the aim was to get feedback from principals, headmasters, BPEOs, centre head teachers and nodal officers of various programmes and school campus managers about the ongoing reforms and programmes in the government schools.

He said the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had initiated efforts to improving the existing education system by introducing the concepts of the School of Eminence, School of Happiness and School of Brilliance to improve the future of the students.
