Haryana minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar hears out grievances of residents at Panipat meeting

Agricultural Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar on Monday directed officials to resolve the issues of people on priority. Presiding over a District Public Relation and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting on Monday, he resolved 10 complaints.
Panipat Urban MLA Pramod Vij, Congress MLA Israna Balbir Valmiki, BJP district president Dushyant Bhatt, Deputy Commissioner Virender Kumar Dahiya and Superintend of Police Ajit Singh Shekhawat also attended the meeting.
Dharmvir, a resident of Sector 6, told the minister that the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has not fenced the green belt of the sector. After listening to his complaint, the minister directed officials to fence the belt on priority.
Residents of TDI colony alleged that they were forced to face problems due to the lack of basic amenities, including electricity, better roads and potable water. Thereafter, the minister directed the officials to ensure the amenities by August 15.
Members of the Shyam Mandir Sewa Samiti raised the issue of a poor road to the Chulkana dham. They said commuters visit the historical temple to offer prayers and they had to face a lot of problems. Gujjar directed the officials to repair the road at the earliest. Deputy Commissioner Dahiya said he would inspect the road.
