MC receives 274 plaints at camps in Y’nagar, Jagadhri

As many as 274 complaints have so far been received in ‘Samadhan Shivirs’ being organised by the Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ). Out of these, officials claim that 96 complaints have been resolved and 48 have been cancelled.

Ayush Sinha, Municipal Commissioner of the MCYJ, issued instructions to the officers to resolve pending complaints as early as possible.

Samadhan Shivirs are being organised in Haryana from October 22 in order to resolve the problems of citizens of the state.

Most of the complaints are related to property IDs and family identity cards.

Vijay Pal Yadav, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the MCYJ, said that on the directions of the state government, these camps were being organised in MCYJ offices located in Jagadhri and Yamunanagar to resolve the problems related to the Municipal Corporation.

“A total of 274 complaints have been received in the camps organised in the MCYJ offices from October 22 to November 14. Out of them, 96 complaints have been resolved, while 48 complaints were cancelled,” said Yadav.

He said officials of the MCYJ were investigating the remaining pending complaints, which required documents, inspection of the spot and investigation.

He said after investigation, those pending complaints would also be resolved. He added that on Thursday, a total of two complaints were received in the camp organised at the MCYJ office in Yamunanagar.

“One of these complaints was related to family identity cards and the other was related to getting the speed breakers made. MCYJ officials have started an investigation to resolve these complaints,” said Yadav.

“Residents of wards one to seven should bring written complaints of their problems in the camps being organised at the MCYJ office located in Jagadhri and residents of wards eight to 22 should bring written complaints of their problems in the camps being organised at the MCYJ office in Yamunanagar,” he said.
