Mayor proposes chatbot for MCD ‘311’ app
A review meeting led by Mayor Shelly Oberoi was held at the Civic Centre on Thursday to improve sanitation efforts and streamline the complaint filing process on the MCD ‘311’ app. The Mayor highlighted the need to integrate a chatbot into the app to make it easier for citizens to register their concerns.
Oberoi emphasised the importance of strengthening sanitation complaint monitoring ahead of the festive season, with the meeting focusing on enhancing the app to boost efficiency and responsiveness.
Oberoi said, “The MCD 311 app is a crucial tool for our citizens to engage with us directly. With the integration of a chatbot, we aim to make it even easier for residents to register their concerns, ensuring quicker responses. As we approach the festive season, it is our priority to ensure that Delhi is clean and beautiful, and that citizen complaints are addressed in a timely and effective manner.”
The review, attended by key officials, including Leader of House Mukesh Goel, MLA Durgesh Pathak and senior MCD personnel, focused on improving the monitoring of street cleanliness and the timely removal of construction and demolition (C&D) waste.
Endorsing the initiative, Goel said, “This meeting is an important step towards ensuring that the MCD continues to serve the people of Delhi with efficiency.”
