The District and Sessions Court of Gurugram has sentenced a 28-year-old youth, Tushar of Nanu Kalan village, to 20 years of imprisonment after he was found guilty of raping a minor girl.

On the basis of a written complaint, registered at Pataudi police station on September 15, 2020, a criminal case under Sections 6, 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), 2012 and Section 506 of the IPC was registered.

The judge sentenced the convict to 20 years of imprisonment, besides imposing a fine of Rs 40,000.
