A Renault Duster collided with a Punjab Roadways bus at Sherpur Chowk here on Sunday. The SUV was badly damaged in the accident. The driver of the vehicle got stuck in it and he was pulled out with the help of passers-by.

The injured man was taken to a private hospital by the people. After the accident, traffic movement had slowed down.

The driver of the Punjab Roadways bus, Paramjit Singh, said he was coming to Ludhiana with passengers from Patiala. The SUV was coming at a high speed from the Ludhiana side. It must had been moving at a speed of around 100 kmph. The speeding car collided with it. The bus was also damaged.
