Maharashtra must follow Haryana in rejecting ‘hateful conspiracies of Congress, urban naxals’: PM Modi
A day after clocking a historic hat-trick in Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on rival Congress and said after Haryana, Maharashtra should defeat its “hateful conspiracies.”
“Congress adopted all possible tools but Haryana showed that it will not become the target of hateful conspiracies of Congress and its urban naxals…Haryana farmers also showed that they are happy with the welfare policies of the BJP,” Modi said.
The PM was addressing an event to launch a range of infrastructure projects in poll bound Maharashtra.
An unusually ballistic PM singled out the Congress accusing it of playing politics of communalism and casteism.
“Congress has always followed the path of dividing people to usurp power. It has become an irresponsible party and keeps inventing recipes to divide the country. Congress formula is clear: fear monger among Muslims and divide Hindus.”
Modi said no Congress leader has ever spoken about castes in Muslim community.
“When it comes to Muslim castes, Congress keeps mum but when it comes to Hindus Congress begins by talking about castes. It wants to keep the Hindu society inflamed so that it can keep reaping political benefits,” said Modi, urging Maharashtra to elect BJP and allies to power and follow in Haryana’s footsteps.
He said Congress treats division of Hindus as its election winning formula in all states.
“The Congress is crushing our all-embracing Sanatan traditions,” said the PM, adding that the old Congress guard is also feeling helpless at the direction the party has taken.
Modi warned that the Congress is going to become the largest hate spewing factory which is why Mahatma Gandhi wanted it wound up.
“Congress didn’t wind up but is hell bent on destroying India and we have to stay cautious and alert. I am sure Maharashtra, like Haryana, will thwart all conspiracies to weaken the nation. Maharashtra has to vote for BJP Mahayuti,” said Modi.
