For checking the quality of the education being provided in government schools, several teams, in coordination with SCERT, are visiting the schools in order to the feedback on the Competency Enhancement Programme (CEP) going on there. The teams are visiting two schools daily to check if the students have gained the conceptual knowledge.

As per information, the team members are daily checking a primary and a middle/higher school as these cover the classes III, VI and IX.

District Education Officer (DEO) Dimple Madan said ‘Parakh Rashtriya Sarvekshan’ would be held in the country on December 4. The CEP programme comes under it and the survey would actually reveal the progress of the students in the government schools. Manoj Kumar, Deputy DEO, said these surveys would be conducted for almost a week and it was expected that teams covered maximum number of schools to ascertain the ground reality.
