Tarsem Memorial judo tournament to be held on Nov 24

The 3rd Tarsem Memorial Cash Prize Money Judo Tournament will be held at the multipurpose indoor hall, opposite Guru Nanak Stadium, here on November 24. The event is being organized by the game lovers body- Ludhiana Judo Family in the memory of national-level judo player Tarsem Singh.

Competition for men will be held in below 66kg, 73kg, 81kg weight and open categories. For women it will be held in below 48kg, 52kg, 57 kg weight and open categories. For the boys, competition in U-17 years in below 55kg, 60kg and for the girls, in below 44 kg and 48kg, weight groups will be held during this tournament.

The first three position holders in the men’s and women’s sections, will give given cash prizes of Rs 11,000, Rs 7,100 and Rs 3,100, respectively, while the winners in the U-17 category, the winners will receive cash prize of Rs 3,100, the first runner-up will get prize of Rs 2,100 and the third position holder will be given cash prize of Rs 1,100.
