Tailor found hanging

A tailor died under suspicious circumstances near Chandar Nagar here on Saturday night. His body was found hanging from the girder on the roof of the hall behind his shop. When a worker of the shop noticed the body, he raised the alarm.

The deceased was identified as Imhaj Ali. He was a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He had been staying in the area for the past three to four years. He had taken a shop on rent sometime ago.

According to information, Imhaj was the owner of the shop, Lisa Man Tailors. He came to work on Saturday as usual. After working for the whole day, he left the shop and later, his body was found hanging from a noose. Following which, the police were informed. After reaching the scene, the police conducted a probe. They did not find any suicide note from the place.

The police said so far inquest proceedings were initiated and further investigation was launched. After conducting the post-mortem examination of the victim, the body was handed over to the police.
