The 74th Senior Punjab Basketball Tournament will be held at Gureh village in this district from November 18 to 24.

Teja Singh Dhaliwal, honorary general secretary, Punjab Basketball Association, said a number of players of national and international repute besides the players of the All India Inter-Universities would be seen in action during the week-long championship. Eleven teams each in the men’s and women’s sections that qualified from five zones would be vying for the top honours at Gureh. On the basis of their performance during this championship, Punjab players would be selected to attend the preparatory camp.
