Sehajpreet, Naman emerge champions

Sehajpreet Kaur and Naman Mehra emerged champions in the women’s and men’s sections, respectively, in the Ludhiana District Table Tennis Tournament that concluded at Shastri Hall, near Guru Nanak Stadium, here on Sunday.

Manpreet finished runners-up in the men’s section while Manmeet and Raghav shared the third position. In the women’s section, Yashvi secured the second place while Kavya and Mehar, jointly won the third position.

In the U-9 group, Sachin in the boy’s section and Aarvi in the girl’s section were declared the winners while in U-11 category, Dhruvin and Gauranshi romped home in the boys and girls sections, respectively.

Boys (U-13): Abhirvey 1st, Rudra 2nd , Sehajdeep and Aditya 3rd; U-15: Shivansh 1st, Kovid 2nd, Ryan and Abhirvey 3rd; U-17: Aryan 1st, Raghav 2nd, Vihaan and Satvik 3rd.

Girls (U-13): Gauranshi 1st, Kashvi 2nd, Jaanvi and Shanaya 3rd; U-15: Kavya 1st, Saesha 2nd, Priyanka and Gauranshi 3rd; U-17: Kavya 1st, Yashvi 2nd, Sanya and Saesha 3rd; U-19: Jasmine 1st, Sehajpreet 2nd, Sanya and Yashvi 3rd.
