Ludhiana: Children’s Day was marked with enthusiasm at BVM, Sector 39. The children wore their house T- shirts and relished their favourite food with classmates. Various recreational activities were organised for the children of classes I to VIII such as dance, sack race, lemon race, back race and get ready for the party. It was a day full of joy and laughter. With active participation and a variety of thoughtfully scheduled activities, the event was a resounding success. Principal, Upasna Modgil while greeting the children warmly on the special day reminded them of the extraordinary sacrifices made by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and asked them to keep him as an idol in all their endeavours.
Victoria Public School
Victoria Public School, Lehra, celebrated its annual day event, ‘Navrang’, showcasing the hard work and dedication of students and teachers. The colorful skits and cultural programmes presented by the students mesmerised everyone. The event was graced by many dignitaries. The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and auspicious songs led by the teachers. The students presented traditional Indian dances such as gidda, bhangra and kathak. The plays and cultural performances by the students captivated the large gathering of parents and guests. The highlight of the event was the ‘Navrang Theme,’ where students used seven main colours to symbolise vibrant emotions and the unity of diverse cultures. Through songs, dances, plays, and dubbing, the students made the entire programme lively and engaging. In a special play, the children raised awareness about social evils, delivering a message of living a respectful life.
Ryan International School
On the occasion of Children’s Day, Ryan International School, Ludhiana, organised a series of activities and games across all levels. The day was filled with excitement as the students actively participated in various competitions, including elocution and creative writing, tailored to different classes. Students of classes III and IV participated in mono acting.
