Ludhiana: Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, Basti Jodhewal, Ludhiana, has added yet another jewel to its crown by securing the overall winner’s trophy in the Ludhiana Sahodaya School Complex Drawing Competition. The competition, which was held across four categories, showcased remarkable levels of artistry and innovation. In Category I, Arshpreet won the first prize for her piece on the marine exhibit that captured the beauty of marine life. In Category IV, Manmeet secured the first prize with a thought-provoking piece on time travel that seamlessly bridged the gap between the past, present, and future. In Category II, Adinishika was awarded the third prize for her artwork on magical realms that transported the viewer into a fantastical world of her own creation.

HVM Global School

Students take part in a race during the athletics meet.

HVM Global School, Sector-32, Tajpur Road, hosted its first athletics meet on the school grounds. The event was a display of teamwork, talent, and creativity, leaving the audience spellbound. The meet began with a march past, as the young HVMites, holding colourful flags, marched in perfect unison. Students participated in a variety of interesting races like the alphabet race, military race, clown race, Santa Claus race, vowel and consonant races, Kashmiri race etc, filling the atmosphere with excitement. The highlight of the event was a cultural performance by the students, which captivated the audience. Tarsem Singh Bhinder, chairman of the Ludhiana Improvement Trust, was the chief guest at the event.
