Punjab Police nab 4 for petrol bomb attacks on Shiv Sena leaders
The Punjab Police's Counter Intelligence and Ludhiana Police jointly dismantled a Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) module operated by two foreign-based individuals, DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Tuesday.
The two foreign-based individuals have been identified as Harjit Singh alias Laddi and Sabi.
The DGP said the operation had successfully solved the petrol bomb incidents targeting Shiv Sena leaders, including the October 16 attack on Yogesh Bakshi's house and the November 2 incident at Harkirat Singh Khurana's house at Model Town Extension in Ludhiana.
Four people have been nabbed and a motorcycle and two mobile phones used for reconnaissance and tracking seized.
Further investigations are on, focusing on backward and forward linkages, he added.
Laddi is also wanted in the murder of VHP leader Vikas Prabhakar in Punjab’s Nangal, and carried a reward of Rs 10 lakh as announced by the National Investigation Agency.
