‘Pukaar’ a blend of talent & culture
Green Land Convent School, Sector-32, Ludhiana, hosted its annual function -Pukaar: Echoes of Divine Souls. The event showcased a captivating blend of talent, enthusiasm and patriotism.
ADCP Ramandeep Singh Bhullar and AAP leader Vijay Danav, who were the chief guests, were accorded a warm welcome by the school management.
NCC students and the school band welcomed the guests with a spirited performance. The ceremony commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp.
The school orchestra's performance was nothing short of spectacular, setting the tone for a vibrant and colourful evening. As the evening progressed, students showcased their talent through welcome dances, group singing, dance dramas, and various other presentations.
The cultural kaleidoscope continued with a Chirmi folk dance, a homage to the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, and was further enriched by Hindi play 'Kaalchakar'. Each performance was a testament to the students' exceptional talents, keeping the spectators enthralled until the very end.
Dr Rajesh Rudhra, Chairman of Green Land Schools, along with school trust president Dr Shabad Rudhra, General Secretary Usha Rudhra, Director Vijayata Rudhra, St Paul's International School Director Dr Anamika, were also present on the occasion. Principal Vinita Sanan presented the school's detailed annual report.
