Demanding mandatory inclusion of agriculture as a subject from grade VI to X and the recruitment of agriculture teachers, as well as fulfilling promises made to agricultural supervisors, the students of agriculture staged a protest march at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on Friday.

A large number of BSc Agriculture and MSc students participated in the march. Student leaders emphasised that the government’s policies could only be changed if unemployed students united. They urged the group to continue growing each day, highlighting that there was no alternative but to persist in their fight.

Though the university is shut, students decided to continue with their protest.
