Keeping up its pace with the digitisation in agriculture, the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU)is working to produce skilled remote pilots for the operation of drone technology.

As per the communiqué released here today, the PAU has got an approval for the establishment of Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

This would be the first independent RPTO to be established in the state solely by any government organisation.
