Missing child reunited with family

The police on Wednesday reunited a three-year-old missing child with his family.

The child went missing from his house in Ranjit Nagar under mysterious circumstances late on Tuesday.

Varinder Pal Singh Uppal, Station House Officer, Moti Nagar police station, said Aryan went missing from his house when his mother went to a nearby shop. When she returned home, she was shocked to see that her son was not in the house. The family and neighbours searched for the child, but to no avail.

Inspector Uppal said family then reported the matter to Moti Nagar police station.

During the investigation, the police scanned CCTVs of the area and surroundings. In one of the cameras, a child going towards Sundar Nagar in Basti Jodhewal was noticed.

After seeing the child roaming alone, two women were seen taking him along with them yesterday, the investigation revealed. The women tried to find parents of the kid, but child was not able to give any information about his parents or residence.

Inspector Uppal added that the cops managed to reached the house of the women and recovered the child safely. The women were about to inform the police about the missing kid, but the cops traced the child’s location before that.

After parents took custody of the child at Moti Nagar police station, they thanked the police officials for reunited the child with the family.
