Ludhiana: Anukama fashion show

Ludhiana: Models of all centres of Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) took the stage by storm showcasing 51 handcrafted collections created by the graduating fashion design students of NIIFT Mohali, Ludhiana and Jalandhar centres. The occasion was ‘Anukama 2024’, the annual design collection show of the institute. Tejveer Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce, was the chief guest. A total of 12 awards were given to the deserving students on the basis of their performance. The Best Design Collection award went to Sirish Ranjan, Suruchi, Khushi Sharma and Anushka Kapoor. The collections were based on sustainable practices such as indigo dyeing, Mizoram doll-making, terracotta, domestic waste and Pichwai. TNS
