Inter-varsity youth fest at PAU begins today
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Services, Punjab Government, is set to host the Punjab State Inter-Varsity Youth Festival from November 29 to December 2.
The festival promises four days of vibrant cultural celebrations and spirited competitions, drawing participants from various state universities.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor of the PAU, said: “This festival is a testament to the PAU’s commitment to preserving Punjab’s rich cultural heritage, fostering camaraderie and promoting unity through the arts”.
PAU Director Students’ Welfare Dr Nirmal Singh Jaura said the festival was expected to witness participation from 20 public and private universities across Punjab.
The inaugural ceremony will be held at 10 am on November 29, while the valedictory function will be held at 1 pm on December 2. Both events will be held at Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium, PAU.
