Industry meet organised at GNDEC
Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana, conducted an industry-institute meet, facilitated by the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering and the Industrial Relations Cell.
The event aimed to foster collaboration between academia and industry, ensuring students are equipped with industry-relevant skills to meet evolving market demands.
Prominent industrial leaders attended the meet, including Jagbir Singh Sokhi (president, Sewing Machine Development Cell), Narinder Bhamra (president, Fasteners Manufacturers Association of India), Gurpreet Singh Kalhon (senior vice-president, Auto Parts Manufacturers India), and Harsimerjit Singh (president, United Cycle Parts, Ludhiana). Representatives from leading firms, including Steel Shuttering Industries, Pioneer Cranes, Compac Technology, Barnala Engineers and Arora Steels, also participated.
