Illegal portion of building razed in Bhadaur House area

The Municipal Corporation (MC) demolished the illegal portion of an under-construction building in Bhadaur House area here on Thursday. The Building Branch team, led by Assistant Town Planner (ATP-Zone A) MS Bedi, also sealed the building.

ATP Bedi said following a complaint, the MC team demolished the illegal portion of the building.

A part of the building was razed in July this year. Due to space constraints, earth mover could not demolish the entire structure. It was demolished with the help of a drill machine today.

MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal appealed to residents to start construction work only after getting building plans approved from the civic body.
