ICSE Class X Results: Ludhiana students come out with flying colours

Ludhiana, July 17
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today declared the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X results.
Marks of Semester 1, Semester 2 and project (internal assessment ) have been added by the council and the results have been declared on the basis of the computation of the same.
Students of Sat Paul Mittal School aced the board exams by crossing all hurdles such as pandemic and changed paper pattern.
In science stream in Class X, Ananya Chowdhery secured the first position in the district with 98.8 per cent marks, Bhavya Bansal secured 98.4 per cent marks and Tanishq Aggarwal scored 98.2 per cent marks in the stream.
In commerce stream, Raina Mehra topped with 98.8 per cent marks followed by Amulya Dhawan and Rhea Khosla with 98.6 per cent marks and Manvi Singh securing 98 per cent marks.
Bhupinder Gogia, principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, congratulated parents and staff and applauded the remarkable efforts of the students and teachers for the excellent results.
Meanwhile, students of Sacred Heart Convent School, Chandigarh Road, also proved their mettle by showcasing a laudable performance in the exams.
Abhinav Jain from science stream secured the first position in the school by scoring 98.2 per cent marks. The second position is bagged by Arshpreet Kaur by scoring 97.8 per cent marks while Sukhpreet Singh has got the third position in the school by obtaining 97.6 per cent marks.
School principal Rev Sr Crispin Maria felicitated the students for their excellent performance and praised all of them by saying: “The students burnt midnight oil to bring success in abundance. It is the result of their untiring efforts of mentors who guided them at each and every step.”
Students of Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School, Sahnewal, also fared well in the exams.
This year, many students scored above 90 per cent marks. Agam Aujla (98 per cent), Mudit Patial (97.80 per cent), Japleen Kaur Bedi (97.80 per cent) and Aakriti Sinha (96.40 per cent) brought laurels to the institution by passing the examinations with flying colours.
Director of the School Rev Fr Roby Kolenchery and principal Rev Sr Sherin Thomas congratulated the students, their parents and teachers for the marvelous results.
