FIR sought against Punjabi singer Jassi Jasraj

Members of the Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Welfare Society sat on a hunger strike for an indefinite period. They demanded action against Punjabi singer Jassi Jasraj for allegedly speaking ill about Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
National president of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha Baba Nand Kishore also reached the place to support the hunger strike.
Vishal Nayyar, president of the society, who is also the grandson of martyr Sukhdev Singh, alleged that the Punjabi singer had raised slogans against Shaheed Bhagat Singh due to which he filed a complaint against the singer with the Ludhiana police.
He said the police were yet to register a case against the singer. An effigy of the singer was also burnt by the protesters.
