Almost five days after two unidentified persons threw a diesel bomb at the house of Shiv Sena leader Yogesh Bakshi, the Haibowal police registered a case on Monday against unidentified persons and launched further investigation. It fell on his car due to which the vehicle caught fire.

The police registered the case after various Hindu leaders gathered at the office of the Commissioner of Police on Monday and blamed the police for delaying the registration of the FIR. The leaders had alleged that the incident occurred on October 16 but the Haibowal police delayed the registration of the case.

Even the suspects who threw the diesel bomb were not even identified by the police.

Meanwhile, Yogesh Bakshi, president of the Shiv Sena Bharatvanshi, said the police should arrest the suspects. He alleged that he had also been receiving threats from some unidentified miscreants and if the suspects were not arrested, they might attack him again.

Meanwhile, other Shiv Sena leaders of the city demanded that the police should review their security and, if required, they should be given gunmen for protection.
