DC inspects community health centre
The Deputy Commissioner, Jitendra Jorwal, today conducted a surprise inspection of the Urban Community Health Centre (UCHC) at Jawaddi near here.
Heinspected the medical services and availability of essential and non-essential medicines among other things. The visit also included a review of the OPD services, drug store, cleanliness and detailed interactions with doctors, staff and patients to gather suggestions for improvement in various areas of operation.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised that doctors should provide quality health services and necessary medications to patients whenever and wherever required.
He also gathered feedback from patients in the wards about the availability of free medicines and the behaviour of the staff. He stressed the importance of ensuring that patients do not encounter any difficulties in accessing services.
