The department of political science at Khalsa College for Women commemorated the National Unity Day by organising a reel-making competition. The event aimed to inspire students to creatively express their understanding of India’s diverse culture, history and unity. Participants showcased their talents by crafting engaging short videos that highlighted the significance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contributions to nation-building. The competition encouraged students to delve into the rich tapestry of India’s heritage and foster a sense of national pride. The winning entries will be recognised and awarded prizes during a special ceremony. The teachers extended their gratitude to all the participants for their enthusiastic participation and dedication.

Malwa central college

The NSS Unit of Malwa Central College of Education for Women celebrated the National Unity Day by organizing a declamation contest on the topic ‘role of youth in national integration’. Programme Officers Dr Mandeep Kaur, Dr Rekha and Dr SukhwinderSingh were the event organisers. Dr Sukhwinder Singh sensitised the students about the importance of the day. Principal Dr Satwant Kaur appreciated the efforts of the organisers and the participants.
