Ludhiana, September 1

Amir Hussain Lone, a para cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir, was honoured at a function held at the District Courts, Bar Room, on Saturday. The function was organised jointly by Aryans Group of Colleges and the Ludhiana Bar Association to acknowledge his remarkable dedication to the sport of cricket despite the challenges, which he had to face since 2013.

Lone, captain of the J&K Para cricket team, lost his arm in 1997 in an accident at the age of 8. However, that did not stop him from pursuing his passion for cricket. He developed a unique style of playing, using his legs and feet to bat, bowl and field.
