Civic body chief reviews devp works

Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal conducted a review meeting on Thursday to expedite works and ensure cleanliness across the city.

Senior officials of the B&R wing and O&M cell participated in the meeting and necessary directions were issued to get pending works completed at the earliest.

The MC Commissioner said besides expediting the ongoing works, officials had also been directed to complete the tender process of works which had been approved in the past at the earliest, so that those projects could be completed to facilitate residents at large.

He said directions had again been issued to staff to ensure cleanliness and regular cleaning of sewer lines across the city. The officials had been directed to ensure speedy redressal of grievances shared by residents.
