The Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) convened a meeting today to extend congratulations to newly inducted minister in the Punjab Cabinet Tarunpreet Singh Sond. The meeting, held under the leadership of CICU president Upkar Singh, was attended by key committee members,.

During the meeting, the CICU leadership expressed best wishes to Sond, who has been entrusted not only with the Industries Department but also with five other crucial portfolios, including Tourism.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind.
