CEO of agri varsity trained startup showcases drone tech to PM
The Punjab Agricultural University’s (PAU’s) Punjab Agriculture Business Incubator (PABI) trained Droame, an emerging leader in autonomous drone technology, achieved a significant milestone as its CEO presented the innovative drone solutions to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at the Rising Rajasthan event recently.
This interaction underscored Droame’s commitment to advancing India’s technological frontiers. These state-of-the-art innovations highlighted Droame’s expertise in drone delivery, aerial videography, and precision agriculture.
The agriculture drone, designed to cater to the needs of Indian farmers, promised efficiency and sustainability in agricultural operations.
The Rising Rajasthan event brought together innovators and leaders from across the country, and Droame’s participation had further solidified its position as a key player in drone technology.
With over 50,000 flights and 18 patents, Droame was poised to redefine possibilities in agriculture, logistics, and videography. Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, commended Droame’s achievement, stating, “This meeting with the Prime Minister is a testament to the impact of innovative startups in driving India’s agricultural and technological revolutions. Droame’s contribution is a proud moment for PABI and PAU.”
Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education, praised the collaboration, saying, “Droame’s advanced agriculture drones demonstrate how innovation and mentorship can transform challenges into opportunities for our farmers.
