To incite awareness and instil a personal connect between students and nature BVM USN celebrated Van Mahotsav Week from July 1 to 7 as a part of the ‘Go Green’ initiative of the school. Vitalising the need of a green drive, the active agents of environment-protection, the committed BVMites pledged to preserve the environment. To spread the fragrance of love and concern towards nature, young ecologists of Class VI planted saplings. To promote awareness, Class VII students made colourful posters on ‘Say No To Plastic’, Ridhima, of Class IV, recited a poem dedicated to the Mother Nature. These guardians of the environment participated enthusiastically in the role-play activity ‘plant trees today for a better tomorrow’, followed by inter-section declamation on the theme ‘go green’ for Class IX students. world chocolate day

Ludhiana: BCM Foundational Stage, Chandigarh Road, celebrated World Chocolate Day with an exciting and creative twist. The students participated wholeheartedly, showcasing their artistic skills through various chocolate-themed activities. The Nursery students delighted everyone with their imaginative paper cookies made using paper plates and pom-poms. LKG students brought their creations by crafting ice-cream cones using glitter sheets, beads and crayons. Meanwhile, UKG students showcased their talent by preparing crafty mugs with A4 and glitter sheets. Principal DP Guleria said these projects not only celebrated World Chocolate Day but also help in developing fine motor skills, creativity and a sense of accomplishment among the students.

PU BCom results

Continuing with SACCM’s winning traditions, its students once again brought laurels to the college by grabbing five top positions out of the top 10 ranks in Panjab University BCom sixth semester results announced on July 5. Indeed, it was a moment of joy for the college when BCom VI students bagged the second, third, sixth, seventh and tenth positions in the university. Pranvi Sharma bagged the second rank, Aditya Mittal got the third position, Shriya Singla came in sixth, Muskanpreet Kaur pocketed the seventh rank and Pragya Sharma came in tenth position. Principal Vishal Kumar congratulated SACCM brainiacs for their industrious toils bringing glory to their alma-mater. Chairman S P Oswal and Secretary RK Rewari lauded the faculty and students for showcasing marvellous performances and reaping dividends of diligent and sincere efforts.
