HVM Convent Senior Secondary School, New Subhash Nagar, commemorated Teacher’s Day at Jathedar Farm House honour the staff’s their contribution in shaping rounded individuals. Different games were arranged for the teachers like musical chairs, antakshari, one minute and hand-eye coordination games. After the games, the teachers set the dance floor on fire with their dance moves. School president DP Sharma, Chairman Dilbag Singh and all the members of school administration commended the teachers for their role in students’ lives.

Harvest international school

The students of Harvest International School, Jassowal, made their presence felt in the district-level swimming competition held at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) swimming pool. Noorvanshpal won the top position in freestyle event in the boys’ U-11 section while Pooja secured the third position in the girls’ section in the same event and age group.

Kishori lal Jethi govt girls school

International Clean Air Blue Skies Day was celebrated at Kishori Lal Jethi Government Girls School Khanna with coordination from the Khanna civic body. Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sondh was the chief guest, and the programme was also attended by SDO Pritpal Kaur, SDO Sanatpreet Singh, and Charanjeet Singh, EO from the Pollution Board. The MLA gave a speech on clean air and urged the students to keep their environment clean. MC’s Maninder Singh informed the children about single-use plastics. An environment-themed drawing competition was also organised for the students.

Khalsa college for women

Proving their mettle once again, students of the postgraduate department of mathematics of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, aced the MSc Mathematics (IV) examinations of conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Rattandeep Kaur stood third in the university and first in the college by securing 88.85 per cent. Taniya Arora stood fourth in PU and second in the college by securing 88.5 per cent and Ravnoor Kaur stood third in the college by securing 84.4 per cent.

Sat Paul Mittal school

Sat Paul Mittal School celebrated the Teacher’s Day, honouring the dedication and excellence of its educators and staff. An event was held at the Mittal Auditorium. The function began with a welcome address by Governing Council Vice-Chairman Bipin Gupta, who eloquently highlighted the significance of the event and underscored the school’s commitment to excellence. He spoke about the profound impact educators have on their students’ lives and reaffirmed the school’s dedication to supporting and empowering its educators. Following this, the gathering was treated to creative performances presented by the teachers of Sat Paul Mittal School. The Teacher’s Day awards were the highlight of the event. The Teacher of the Year Award was presented to Pooja Sachdeva, Divya Malik and Arvinder Kaur.
