Campus notes: HVM Convent School
Ludhiana: HVM Convent School, Karamsar Colony, organised a poster-making competition for students of classes IX to XII. The event aligned with the national initiative, ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, aimed at promoting the spirit of national integration among the students and fostering awareness of the various traditions, languages and cultures across India. Students from all the classes enthusiastically participated, using vibrant colours and creative ideas to depict the country’s heritage, unity and progress. School president DP Sharma, Chairman Dilbag Singh and members of the management praised the students’ efforts.
Sahodaya schools complex
The Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex, Central Zone, had the distinct honour of hosting an interactive session with Rajesh Kumar Gupta, the Regional Officer of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE- Chandigarh Region) at Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass. This significant event brought together principals from numerous CBSE-affiliated schools in Ludhiana, providing a platform to discuss and celebrate the policies introduced under Rajesh Kumar Gupta’s leadership.
Malwa central college
Malwa Central College of Education for Women held an exhibition on candle making on Tuesday. Associate Professor Dr Tripta was the organiser. Associate Professor Dr Nerotma Sharma welcomed the team led by Kajal and Parveen Sabarwal. The workshop covered the basics of candle making, including wax melting, fragrance addition and creative designs.
