Campus Notes: Guru gobind singh public school

Ludhiana: The birth anniversary of Guru Ramdas was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Guru Gobind Singh Public School. On this occasion, the students and the teachers recited gurbani and Anand Sahib. The students recited poems on the life of Guru Ramdas. The senior students also delivered a speech. After ardaas, deg was distributed among all.

Kamla lohtia sd college

An industry visit to Avon Cycles Pvt Ltd, was organised by Industry Institute Interface Cell of Kamla Lohtia SD College. Around 55 students of UG and PG classes alongwith Dr Renu Sharma and Prabhjeet Singhexplored this opportunity. During the visit, the students were given a brief presentation to explain the working of the company and production process followed by plant visit. The students showed a keen interest in learning practical aspects taught to them by the officials of Avon Cycles. Towards the end of the session, Onkar Singh Pahwa, managing director, Avon Cycles, interacted with the students and tried to explain to them the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements.

Guru nanak public school

Guru Nanak Public School students showcased exceptional talent at the Nirmal Singh Memorial Shabad Gayan Competition, held at Spring Dale Public School. The school secured the second position among 12 teams from across the city. The team also received a cash prize of Rs 7,100 for their performance. Principal Mona Singh commended the students.
