Blood donation camp marks birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev
In a heart-warming display of community service and compassion, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) unit of the Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (GGSSC) organised a mega blood donation camp to mark the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr JPS Gill, Vice-Chancellor. It was held in collaboration with the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members and staff of various colleges in the university. Nearly 100 units of blood were donated, underscoring the collective efforts of the university community in contributing to the noble cause of saving lives.
Dr JPS Gill expressed gratitude to donors and highlighted the significance of the blood donation drive. “Blood donation is the noblest form of service,” he said.
