AAP kisan wing leader shot dead in Punjab's Khanna

Aam Aadmi Party’s kisan wing Khanna president Tarlochan Singh DC was shot dead by unidentified assailants, in Khanna’s Ikolaha village, on Monday evening.

According to officials, the incident took place when Tarlochan was returning home from his farm. Later, he was rushed to civil hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Tarlochan had contested the last Panchayat election from the village but lost. He had joined the AAP and was appointed the president of party’s Kisan Wing Khanna unit.

Tarlochan's son Harpreet Singh Happy alleged that his father was murdered due to enmity.

SP Investigation Saurav Jindal said a probe has been initiated into the matter and teams are working to trace the accused.
