The Jodhewal police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Immigration Act against five travel agents, Manvir Singh, Paramvir Singh, Rajvir Singh, Mandeep Singh and Shaukat Ali, for duping Manjot Saini, a resident of Gagandeep Colony.

The complainant said he had given Rs 18 lakh to the suspects for going to Canada in June 2024. But they failed to provide visa or any other related document to him. The money was also not returned to the victim by them. All suspects were absconding.
