A bomb threat via email was received by Sri Guru Harkrishan Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Dhandra here on Saturday, prompting panic among school administrators. The Sadar police station launched an investigation and the school was also closed.

During investigation of the email, two mobile numbers were found attached with the same of which one was found working in Bihar, while another in Ludhiana. A Ludhiana-based minor boy, who is a migrant, was rounded up and his questioning was on.

The principal received the email threatening to blow up the private school. Police are investigating the email ID, which was sent from a mobile number registered in Bihar. Authorities suspect it might be a prank, but are taking precautions.
