Ludhiana eves beat Muktsar, enter semi-final

Ludhiana beat Muktsar by 33 runs and qualified for the semi-final in the ongoing Punjab State Inter District Women Senior T20 Cricket Tournament. The match was played today at Muktsar.

Invited to bat first, Ludhiana scored 113 runs for the loss of five wickets. The main contributors were Parineeta Saroha and Seema Purohit with 34 and 25 runs, respectively.

For Muktsar, Harmandeep Kaur Maan took two wickets for 18 runs while Alisha Mehta, Pranya and Sumanpreet Kaur captured one wicket each.

Chasing the target, Muktsar reached 88 for eight and fell short of overs. Simran scored 23 runs and Alisha 21.

For the winning side, Aishmine and Parineeta grabbed two wickets each after conceding 10 and 12 runs, respectively.
