November 9: Laxmii on

Disney+ Hotstar

Laxmii, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, is a Hindi remake of the 2011 Tamil horror comedy Kanchana. Written and directed by Raghava Lawrence, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora and Ashwini Kalsekar, among others.

November 11: Aashram Chapter 2 on MX Player

Bobby Deol will be back as ‘Kashipur Waale’ Baba Nirala in the next part of the MX Original Series Aashram. Titled Aashram: Chapter 2 – The Dark Side, the Prakash Jha-directorial is said to be more intense and gritty than the first part, which had ended as a cliff-hanger.

November 12: Ludo on

Netflix

Anurag Basu’s Ludo brings together four intersecting stories that involve an amateur kidnapper (Abhishek Bachchan), a hitman (Panjak Tripathi), a waiter (Rajkummar Rao), a ventriloquist (Aditya Roy Kapur) and two con artists (Fatima Sana Shaikh and Rohit Saraf).

November 12: Mum Bhai on Alt Balaji

Mum Bhai is a crime drama that will dive into the Mumbai underworld. The narrative revolves around the friendship between a cop and a criminal, and set in the late eighties to early 2000. It stars Angad Bedi as an encounter specialist along with Sikander Kher, who plays an underworld don.

November 13: Chhalaang on Amazon Prime Video

Rajkummar Rao, Nushrat Bharucha and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub are caught in a love triangle in this film. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is about a sports competition between two school coaches (Rao and Ayyub) as they vie for the affection of another teacher (Bharucha).

November 15: The Crown

Season 4 on Netflix

The Crown season 4 will mark the end of the run for Olivia Colman (as Queen Elizabeth II), Tobias Menzes (as Prince Philip) and Helena Bonham Carter (as Princess Margaret). Imelda Stanton, Jonathan Pryce and Elizabeth Debicki have been hired as the Queen, Philip, and Diana, respectively, for seasons 5 and 6, which will most likely be released in 2022.
