Singer Arsh Maini realised that he could sing, and sing rather well, when he took part in a youth festival during his college years at Guru Nanak Dev University, Jalandhar.

After completing his studies from Jalandhar, this Tarn Taran boy, armed with a management degree and a family business to fall back on, shifted to Mohali to chase his dreams.

Appreciated for his melodious voice, Arsh took formal training in vocal from Laachi Bawa, the legendary folk singer. His big break in Punjabi music industry came with the song, Fakeer. Some of his popular songs are Jatt In Hummer, Sajna Da Shehar and Dil De Khulle.
