In return mode: Shoaib Ali has made his way back to the sets with Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns
What changes have you observed while shooting?
There is a big change on the sets. Everyone has to be vigilant. Earlier we used to sit and eat together. Now everyone has their own rooms. I think this too is an experience of a kind.
What is your role in the show?
I am playing Ray, who is full of energy and has a charm to his personality. His chemistry with Baambaal is very interesting to watch.
Have you been a viewer of Baalveer Returns?
I have been watching Baalveer Returns and feel it is a great show with an amazing concept. The show has a huge fan base. So, I feel really good to be a part of such a show.
What makes the show different from others?
With the new season, it brings a whole new magical underwater world for the viewers, for the first time on Indian television. There is a lot of effort that goes into bringing such a world alive and maintaining the same standards throughout.
How have you been preparing for this role?
I am mainly working on Ray’s body language. His personality is really groovy and charming, and I personally don’t relate to that. So, to do justice to the role, I am taking a lot of references.
