From Canada, with love
Kunwar Mehra has come out with his latest music video, Fashion. He has already sung a number of songs in English and Hindi. This is his debut Punjabi single and two more tracks will follow in the coming months.
Kunwar, who is currently based in Canada, says the video was shot in Canada.The producer and the music composer too are from Canada.
As Canada has a sizable Punjabi population, Kunwar is confident that his effort will be appreciated by the Punjabi music followers.
“They love and appreciate Punjabi music. The response for all my previous songs has been overwhelming in Canada and I hope the same for this track as well. And I expect a similar kind of response from Indian audience too,” he said.
Kunwar, after completing his Grade 12, took admission in Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. After completing his one-year course in filmmaking and music, he moved to Toronto for his graduation.He is currently perusing his final year of graduation.
“My passion for music led me to become a singer, which surprisingly helped me evolve as a lyricist too,” he said.
Fashion is conceptualised by Terrific Trio comprising Kunwar Mehra (singer), E=MC ( BobbyDhaliwal, composer) and Gaurav Ghai (lyricist). It is directed by Sunny Tamber. “This video wouldn’t have become a reality without the support of Sarabjit Saroya (PlanetRecordz),” shared the artiste.
His next song is scheduled to be shot in Udaipur once the coronavirus pandemic eases out.
